At Gamecast, we believe that youth sports are more than just games; they're about building communities through youth sports, creating memories, and connecting families. We've seen this firsthand through the incredible support of coaches, parents, and fans like Coach Brendan. His story embodies the spirit of Gamecast and the impact we strive to make in communities.
Coach Brendan's Story
Coach Brendan Devlin is a dedicated member of the Mill Valley Little League (MVLL) community. As both a primary coach, and an esteemed member of the MVLL board of directors, he dedicates countless hours to youth baseball and exemplifies the passion and dedication that fuels our mission.
Originally from the east coast, he understands the importance of staying connected to loved ones, even across vast distances. We sat down with Brendan recently after he volunteered to be our Majors division Gamecast scheduler, and learned more about why he was so keen to give us a major assist.
“The Gamecast live stream of MVLL is incredibly special to me and my family. I’m originally from suburban Philadelphia, and most of our relatives still live back East. When Gamecast started in 2021 it gave my mom, sister, and many other relatives the chance to see my son play baseball which was such a gift,” Coach Brendan said
This simple act of live-streaming transcends geographical boundaries, allowing family members to share in the joy and excitement of youth baseball, no matter where they are.
Brendan also shared that he is decidedly not a tech guy - yet still finds Gamecast easy to use and share.
“If you see me during a game you’ll notice I still keep score manually with a pencil and scorebook - old school. Regardless, I just love that there’s a simple way to spread the joy of youth baseball to folks all over the world.”

More Than Just a Live Stream
Gamecast is more than just a platform for broadcasting youth baseball games; it's a bridge connecting families and communities. When the MVLL Board sought volunteers to assist with the backend scheduling and management of the live stream, Coach Brendan stepped up without hesitation.
Even as a self-professed non-tech guy, he’s never had issues with streaming, sharing livestreams, or now assisting with backend scheduling and management of livestreams. Gamecast’s newest product releases don’t hurt - with our new recurring broadcast feature leagues can save time with daily and weekly scheduling templates allowing seamless, automated streaming.
Brendan shared, “Last fall the Board asked for volunteers to assist with backend scheduling/management of the feed. I raised my hand and said I would oversee Majors. Since I am a big fan/supporter, I thought I should roll up my sleeves/chip in to do some of the work to ensure everything runs smoothly."
His willingness to contribute highlights the collaborative spirit that drives Gamecast. We're not just providing a service; we're fostering a community where everyone plays a part in making youth sports accessible and enjoyable.
Our Commitment to Sports Communities
Gamecast is committed to providing a seamless and accessible platform for youth baseball enthusiasts. We understand the importance of capturing those precious moments and sharing them with family and friends, near and far. We are proud to be a part of the MVLL community and grateful for the support of individuals like Coach Brendan.
